The 1st FCT Indigenous Talent Hunt and Art Exhibition Initiative (FITHAEI) is a groundbreaking platform designed to discover, nurture, and promote the exceptional talents of indigenous people within the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
Established with a vision to empower individuals and preserve our rich cultural heritage, FITHAEI provides opportunities for skill acquisition, talent promotion, and economic empowerment. Through programs like the Free Skills Training, the initiative has equipped participants with practical knowledge in areas such as fashion, hairdressing, soap making, graphics design, solar installation, and more.
FITHAEI also serves as a bridge to connect indigenous artisans and entrepreneurs to broader platforms for growth and visibility. Our mission is to create a thriving ecosystem where talent meets opportunity, fostering creativity, collaboration, and sustainable development.

Talent Hunt Competitions
The talent hunt competitions are designed to discover and promote exceptional talents among the indigenous youth of FCT. These competitions will be held across various local government areas (LGAs) and wards, providing opportunities for young talents to showcase their abilities in different categories.
Skill Acquisition and Capacity Building Workshops
The Skill Acquisition Program is a free initiative aimed at equipping indigenous youths with practical skills to foster self-reliance and entrepreneurship. Participants will be trained in various technical, creative, and entrepreneurial fields to enhance their employability and productivity.
Cultural Heritage Promotion
This program focuses on promoting and preserving the rich cultural heritage of the indigenous people of FCT through performances, exhibitions, and educational content. This initiative will emphasize the importance of indigenous culture and traditions in modern-day society.
Indigenous Art Exhibition
The Art Exhibition serves as a platform for indigenous artists to showcase their works to the public. The exhibition will highlight creative talents in the visual arts, fashion, crafts, and more. It will also feature performances from finalists of the talent hunt competitions.
